Dear Mortablog puzzlers, the answer to last week's brainteaser is (drum roll):
Flip the paper upside down.
The equation now reads X = I + IX.
How about that gamma/delta rush? No winners I am afraid.

If you flip the paper upside down, doesn't that technically mean that you’re moving all the “sticks”? When was the equation on paper? My monitor doesn’t turn 360.
